Millicent Kwakye - Assistant Teacher

Mrs. Millicent Kwakye is a dedicated and compassionate Teacher with a profound
commitment to the holistic development of young learners. As a natural mentor, she
creates a nurturing and engaging environment where children’s curiosity and
creativity flourish. She has a strong foundation in early childhood education and thus
possesses the skills and knowledge to instill a lifelong love for learning.

Mrs. Kwakye has a Diploma in Montessori Education from the Organization of
Business Professionals, UK and a Certificate in Montessori Teaching Methodology
from the Montessori Training Institute, Accra. She also possesses a Certificate in
Phonics and Handwriting from Rosefield Educational Consult and a Certificate in
Jolly Phonics from ESDOC Consultancy and Training Center. She is currently
pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Early Grade) from the University of Education,
Winneba.

Mrs. Kwakye’s philosophy is that no child is “Tabula Rasa” and thus every child has
some innate capability and skills that can be nurtured and discovered in an ideal
classroom setting. This is where she comes in as a child development specialist to
help them realize these. Her strengths include understanding the unique needs and
developmental stages of young children, thus tailoring lessons and activities to foster
growth in every aspect, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical
development.

Mrs. Kwakye is interested in children with challenges in reading and writing, late
school starters who struggle to grasp the foundational basics of word formation,
sound identification and reading, practical life activities for children, and learning and
discovering new teaching approaches by co-relating with teachers in other
institutions.
