Ms. Awuku is an experienced educator with nineteen (19) years of teaching experience with the
Ghana Education Service. She taught at Okorase Presby Primary as the Class Teacher for Class 2
and 3, and also doubled as the Cultural Teacher. She also worked at Aburi Presby Primary B/KG
where she taught class 2, 3, and 6.

She has been an Assistant Headmistress for 6 years, a Guidance and Counseling Chair, a
Disciplinary Committee Head, a GNAT Representative and an Academic Board Chair.

Ms. Awuku attended the S.D.A Demonstration School for her basic education. She proceeded
on to Aburi Girls Secondary School for secondary school certificate, after which she obtained
the Teacher’s Certificate A from the Presbyterian Women’s Training College at Aburi. She also
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana.

Her teaching Philosophy is “Every child has a potential; I will develop it”. She is interested in
teaching and singing, and in her free time, she likes to cook.
