Dorothy Anyetso Anokye - KG 2 Lead Teacher

Her passion for teaching and the experience harnessed over the years have informed her
philosophy of consistent practice in an activity, making it perfect. She believes that no child is
empty but has in him/her the perfect substance to excel in the classroom. This belief has been
guided by her knowledge of the power of the print media to enhance a child’s development,
having understood, that the mind feeds on what the eyes see. As such, she is an advocate for
efforts that seek to set up rich print environments, to stimulate learning in the child, leading to
effective cognitive development.

Moreso, having taught for twelve (12) years, she has been able to devise teaching strategies to
unearth the potential and gifts of any child that comes her way. She attributes her prowess in the
field of teaching Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar to the grace of God. She helps children apply
all grammatical rules in the building of their speaking and writing skills, in correspondence to
their level of learning.

She has obtained a B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Education,
Winneba, and an NNTTC Certificate. These achievements, including her experience in the field
of teaching, have earned her the title of an expert in differential teaching.
